Absolute Privacy
by Design.

For creators, teams, and anyone sharing sensitive files.

Your files. Your keys. We can't read them.

Built for Privacy.
Designed for Speed.

Enterprise grade security meets consumer grade usability. No complex keys to manage. If you lose your password, your data is lost forever because we cannot decrypt it for you.

Secure Sharing

Share files with secure, encrypted links. Only the recipient with the link can decrypt the content.

Distributed Storage

Your files are split into encrypted chunks and stored redundantly across a global network.

Client-Side Encryption

XChaCha20-Poly1305 (streaming) encryption. Keys derived via Argon2id. We never see your password or files.

Blazing Fast

Optimized streaming encryption and distributed delivery network for high performance access.

Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Your data is encrypted on your device before it ever touches our servers. We can't read your files even if we were forced to.

1. Client-Side Encryption

Your browser generates a key and encrypts files using XChaCha20-Poly1305.

TLS

2. Encrypted Upload

Only the encrypted blob is transmitted. Server sees random noise.

P2P

3. Obsideo Storage

Data is chunked, replicated for redundancy, and stored on the distributed Obsideo network.

FAQ.

Zero‑knowledge is a design goal your files are encrypted on your device and the service stores encrypted data, not readable content. In practice, that means we cannot view the content of your files.
Your file names, folder names, and file contents are encrypted on your device before upload, so we can't read them. To store and verify your data, our servers do handle some technical metadata: encrypted file sizes, timestamps, and integrity hashes. We never see what your files are called or what's inside them.
Sharing means handing someone the key. A share link and a collab folder invite each carry the key that opens that item, so anyone you give it to can read it, which is the point of sharing. Your private, unshared files stay fully zero knowledge, only you can open them. When you invite someone to a collab folder you are deliberately sharing that folder's key with them.
Anyone who wants private storage for personal videos, documents, and projects.
Any file type. Previews may vary by format, but downloads always work.
When you share a file, Nest generates a unique link with a built in security key. This key stays strictly on your recipient's device and is never shared with our servers. You are always in control and can revoke access to any shared link instantly.
Yes. Share links are encrypted and revocable, and recipients decrypt locally using the key in the link fragment.
By design, Nest has absolutely zero access to your decryption keys. Because of this strict security model, if you lose your credentials and have not configured account recovery, your encrypted data cannot be recovered.
